Tired of Feeling Stuck?

by Anthony D. Carter

There is one way that works time and time again to bring a person out of their dead end situation. Whether you work at a job that does not fulfill you anymore, you are in a dull relationship or you feel stuck in the city that you now reside in, the way to move to next the level remains clear: Become better.

That’s right become a better you. Outgrow your present situation. When you become more you can do more and have more.

You see, nature abhors a vacuum. When you improve your capacity by upgrading your skills, improving your personality or expanding your thinking then you make room for the things that you want to come into your life.

I’m not saying that all you have to do is just improve yourself and things will get better automatically. I’m saying use your head, create a plan and then work your plan.

Get a clear picture of what you want your life to look like. Then improve yourself to line up with the picture.

Think in terms of upgrading within before expecting things outside of you to change.

If you don’t change then you will continue to get more of the same things that you have today.

You will keep being overlooked for job promotions. You will continue to get into arguments with your significant other. And your career will continue to flat-line.

In my life whenever I purposely improve my skills, be it through college courses, seminars, books, audio programs, etc., I always end up getting presented with an opportunity to leave my present situation for a better one.

First I develop a plan for improving my life. Then I take the steps necessary for changing me. Next the offer presents itself and presto! I am no longer stuck. I find myself taking a step up.

I totally agree. Once upon a time, education meant only attending a formal school and usually in your younger years only.
Now with the internet and online resources, even very busy people can take the time to educate themselves and improve or learn new information which can help them move forward in life.
    Thanks for a great post!
