Set your goal and you can rest assured that you have taken a major step towards doing what is required of you to be successful. The next phase involves implementation of your plan while staying motivated. Here are 3 keys to use in order to insure that you hit your goals.

Establish a Routine. Find a way to do what needs to be done on a regular basis. Develop good work habits. When you are consistent in your approach to hitting your goals you establish a regiment that protects you from indecision and hesitancy. It also takes away the tendency to rationalize reasons for stopping or slowing down. A good routine will help you apply consistent work towards your goal over extended periods of time. This approach all but guarantees your eventual success.

Revisit Your Goal. Take time to reflect on what your goal means to you. Revisit the purpose for your goal on a regular basis. As you impress the reasons for your goal onto your mind you strengthen your resolve for achieving it. You fortify yourself with a strong desire to hit your goal because you have a clear understanding of what it’s accomplishment means to you.

Persistence. You must press on in the face of tremendous opposition. Hitting your goal requires that you overcome struggles. You will face hurdles and challenges throughout your journey. But no matter how many times you fail you must regroup and press on again. Your goal demands a price and you will have to pay that price in order to get what you what. Perseverance is the biggest price you’ll pay along the way. Keep pushing forward because the achievement of your goal is worth the price.
